The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Fighters Party

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a wide array of heroes, and a thrilling plot including angels, fiends, and dark forces expanding in power within the city.

Heads-up: Spoilers for the third episode of Campaign 4 are included.

The Combat-Oriented Party Introduced

The third episode concluded with a huge suspense moment and introduced the premier party of adventurers who will branch out from the primary party to begin their separate journey, separate from the remaining groups.

The combat-focused team consists of the determined fighter (portrayed by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (Laura), Tyranny (the cast member), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (Robbie).

The Reason for Division

With an extensive roster, it was clear from the outset that having everyone at one table would be unworkable.

Hence, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, weaving together the personal journeys before branching into three smaller tables: Warriors, Schemers, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

According to the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for participants who are drawn to a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven gameplay experience where non-violent answers are scarce.

At first glance, figures such as the squeamish cleric the cleric might seem mismatched, but the developments of the third episode make it clear why these particular heroes are best suited for the combat party.

Why They Must Go

To begin with, the group knows exactly where to head next after a intense opening clash with the antagonists.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose demise initiated the campaign’s events—manipulated the enemy for his selfish purposes, invading Thjazi’s hideout, attacking Thimble, and swiping all the enchanted items to sell off.

The traitor then cleared his liabilities and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, above the city, with Cyd close behind.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each adventurer has a specific drive to depart the metropolitan area:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, desires vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure knows the northern area and warns that it is a nasty location.
  • Tyranny and Wicander, having defied his relatives’ demands to eliminate the fighter and instead freed him, have no other options.
  • But, their reputation as prominent individuals in House Halovar could assist the group reach places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Moreover, The grateful character vowed a life debt to The cleric for his deliverance and will now accompany him everywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are wanted by the authorities that govern Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • Thimble and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and Wicander betrayed the powerful family and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • The target is targeted for elimination by the family.

This means them few options but to travel to the remote area in quest for Casimir.

What’s Next?

According to the recent installment’s Cooldown, we learn that the Soldiers table won’t be around next week, leaving the rest of the players to form the Explorers and Schemers tables.

Audiences can anticipate learning which players will be assigned to which table in the season’s final introductory chapter, released on the upcoming Thursday.
